Now this crystal table lamp with a contemporary crystal-like shade is very unique and modern. It certainly is the complete opposite of the antique lamps we just looked at above! This lamp is has a chandelier style lighting from the 3 glass "lamp shades". It has a slim stem and a round base to give it plenty of support. It is made of acrylic and steel and the manufacturer says it is easy to assemble. It uses normal 40-watt chandelier bulbs which you should be able to get at any hardware store. I am not sure exactly what kind of lighting this lamp provides but it sure is one of the most unique elegant and contemporary table lamps available!
Table lamps are the most common type of lamps and because there are so many options you should easily be able to find the perfect ones for you and your home. Professional decorators and homeowners agree that with the right lighting especially table lamps a room can be transformed and made truly comfortable and beautiful.
I really wanted to find a cordless crystal table lamp that I could show you but it turns out that there aren`t very many battery powered table lamps available. So we will look at this BettyLou Cordless LED Lamp instead. This lamp is made of almost 100% glass and it will work in any contemporary setting. Since it is battery powered one question you always have to ask is how long will it stay lit? Well the answer is that this cordless light will give excellent lighting for over 7 hours. It has a very efficient LED light which allows it to provide light for an extended period of time which makes this battery powered lamp perfect for special occasions or even everyday use.
Bulk: If the table lamp needs to assist in visually anchoring an area - then a lamp with more bulk or visual weight such as a pottery jar lamp may be the most appropriate. Table lamps should not compete with the overall design of the room - rather compliment it. Color: The color or material of the lamp can also affect a table lamp`s dominance in a room. When there is greater contrast in the color of the lamp to the color of the walls or room setting the lamp will be a stronger design element.
